Stop 01, Chapter 1, Verses 18-19
The birth of Jesus took place like this. His mother, Mary, was engaged to be married to Joseph. Before they enjoyed their wedding night, Joseph discovered she was pregnant. (It was by the Holy Spirit, but he didn’t know that.) Joseph, chagrined but noble, determined to take care of things quietly so Mary would not be disgraced.
Appearances
matter
and there
are times when discretion
must be the
order of the day.
Who's to
know, my dear, unless you tell the tale
about
angelic intrusions
even though
they still won't get it right.
Though they
will note the faithfulness
and duty,
and constancy
and
togetherness, and love.
If young
Yeshua gets wind of it
who knows
what he'll do and say?
